The North-West Youth Empowerment Week 2026, taking place from 23–30 July 2026, is a province-wide initiative aimed at connecting young people with opportunities that drive entrepreneurship, skills development and economic growth.
Hosted across the Bojanala Platinum District Municipality and the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Municipality, the programme will bring together government departments, municipalities, state-owned enterprises, development agencies, private sector organisations, investors, embassies and international chambers of commerce to support the development of youth-owned businesses, SMMEs and cooperatives.
The programme will feature business exhibitions, panel discussions, business-to-business (B2B) networking sessions, industrial site visits, entrepreneurship promotion initiatives, virtual international engagements and capacity-building workshops designed to equip young entrepreneurs with practical knowledge, valuable connections and access to new markets.
The week will conclude with the Youth Empowerment Summit and Closing Activation on 30 July 2026 in Vryburg, where entrepreneurs, policymakers and industry leaders will come together to celebrate innovation, collaboration and the entrepreneurial potential of the North West Province.
The North-West Youth Empowerment Week is more than an event—it is a platform for building partnerships, strengthening local enterprises and creating sustainable opportunities that empower young people to contribute meaningfully to the Province's economic future.
